Mission & Priorities

What I'm fighting for

01

Public Safety

Expanded critical coverage. Funded $3.7M for two new temporary fire stations (NW & SE) — one of the largest immediate public-safety expansions in city history.

Infrastructure & modernization. Approved permanent buildouts for Stations 8 & 9, the modernization of Station 2, and 24 fully equipped replacement patrol vehicles.

Strategic growth. Placed police headquarters and substations in high-growth corridors on the council agenda so infrastructure keeps pace with development.

Fiscal solvency. Voted for a 6.70 millage to ensure police and fire remained solvent and equipped with the tools they need to operate.

Accountability. Made public-safety response times a hard benchmark for approving any new development.

02

Commercial Development

Secured state & federal funding. Maintained housing funds through CDBG, HOME, and SHIP for down-payment assistance and transitional housing.

Infrastructure for commerce. Secured $1.5M for the design and engineering of the St. Johns Heritage Parkway widening to support regional commercial growth.

Economic opportunity. Worked directly with the Secretary of the Florida Department of Commerce to translate relationships into private investment and grants.

Responsible development. Modernized development fees and pushed utility-extension policies that prioritize responsible growth over unchecked expansion.

Developer accountability. Supported a fire-assessment structure ensuring developers — not existing residents — pay for the impact of the growth they create.

03

Finding a Solution for the Compound

Direct federal engagement. Traveled to Washington D.C. and Tallahassee to advocate for the area, winning Opportunity Zone designation to unlock private-investment tools.

Secured million-dollar grants. Landed a $3M grant for the Compound after hosting site tours for the Attorney General's and Secretary of Commerce's staff.

Strategic relationships. Bypassed middlemen to meet directly with top state decision-makers, bringing them to Palm Bay to see the area firsthand.

Investment readiness. Stopped "leaving money on the table" by actively pursuing state and federal housing and infrastructure funds to revitalize the area.

By the numbers
